She just might be...

...an artist when she grows up. We were on our way to the park for a playdate this morning when M shouted to me that she had drawn me a picture. Below is what she showed me, and I about ran off the road. I held it and took a picture with my cell phone while I was driving. I know plenty about educational milestones but nothing about art.


I was very impressed with her artistic ability due to the fact that we haven't worked with her on people, only shapes. We take this little doodle pro with us when we go out to eat. Chad will draw pictures for her, but we haven't shown her how to add eyes or a mouth or limbs. Art is one area where I really wish I had talent. After C went to bed, she and I spent an hour drawing pictures of each other, our family, dinosaurs, and our neighbor's dog. She also made a birthday picture for her daddy.
