Crafty

We sometimes watch the Goodnight Show on Sprout before M goes to bed. Between shows they sometimes do a craft. M really liked the rain stick they did last week. Monday we had a cloudy morning, so I thought we could make a rain stick.


Here are our supplies. I forgot to add the foil to the picture but wrinkle it up and add it.

Adding one piece of rice at a time. Right after this I put the camera down and added the rice for her.

Shake, Rattle, and Roll. She was so proud. She wanted to take it to nap time. I politely said no. We had also watched a show where the little girl made a kite. So she asked it we could make kites after nap time. I agreed as long as she promised to take a nap. She did.

We used construction paper, pipe cleaners, string, and ribbon to make the kites. She was very excited that it actually flew when we went outside.
