Marlee and I have a new game of sorts. I found these cute post-it notes with handwriting lines on them. I've had them for about a year but have been waiting for the right time to post them around the house. One day during nap time I went around and labeled a lot of familiar items throughout the house. When Marlee woke up she ran around "reading" each word. Most of them she got right and a few she had to use context clues to figure out. She was so proud and couldn't wait to show Chad when he got home. I don't really emphasis them anymore but sometimes I hear her saying the word out loud in passing. I'm going to leave them up a few more weeks then take them down and label new items through the house.
