M and C had their first movie theater experience today. We had intended to go the free movie but of course we couldn't get out of the house in time. I made the mistake of telling M about it last night before she went to bed. So what did she ask me first thing this morning? Mommy, are we going to the movie store? She would have been so disappointed if I didn't take her. So I looked online and saw that Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaur was showing at 10:45.
We got popcorn and a drink and settled into our seats. She and C just about ate the whole bag before the movie started. M was a little taken by the loud speakers but settled in.
After our 3rd trip to the bathroom, she told me she was ready to leave. She didn't like the movie because there was a really big and mean dinosaur chasing some smaller dinosaurs around. That was fine by me. C had fallen asleep anyways.
Next time though, we"ll try and make the free movie and sneak in our own snacks. I was a little peeved that I spent around $30 on tickets and snack and she didn't like it. We live and learn, right?

Coop looks like such a big boy in that pic. Yeah, the movies are a rip off. Nick and I spent a small fortune the other night. We'd love to catch a free movie with you next time. Give us a ring :o)
