To Call or Not to Call

I still struggle with when to call the Dr.'s office and when not to call. Cooper had a cough and stuffy nose well over a week ago. He ran no fever and cut a tooth and it went away, so I left it at that. Sunday morning Marlee and Cooper started coughing and had crusty noses. Cooper tugged on his ear off and on Sunday and Marlee sneezed a lot. Still no fevers. Yesterday and today the coughing and runny/crusty noses have continued in addition to cranky people everywhere!

So, my question is, when should I call? I don't want to be one of "those" moms who calls at the first sniffle, but I don't want them to get really sick. I guess I stick by the rule: no fever=no call.

What do you think?

Call the nurses. It always makes me feel better to run the symptoms by them before making an appt. to see the Dr. Give your sick babes a kiss for me :o)

So I prefer the hypochondriac route-hahahaha! I would rather know that I am miserable with a just a cold that the Dr. can't do anything about then just be miserable and not know what's wrong. I think that just b/c you take your kids to the doctor when they've got the crud without a fever doesn't make you "that mom." Hope everyone gets to feeling better soon!!
