Well, we made it to TN! It didn't go as smooth as we had anticipated, but does anything ever really go the way you plan?!?!
We go the moving truck packed Thursday night, thanks to Neal and Tyler (my cousins). In the midst of all of this, I have been having "episodes" for the last 7 weeks or so. At first I thought they were linked to my epidural spot. The Dr. told me it could be sensitive for up to a year. The pain starts in the middle of my back and slowly moves around the right side and settles under my right rib cage. It is severe and last for at least 3 hours. It doubles me over and no medicine over the counter helps. So I just suffer my way through until I fall asleep. Well, I had one last Wednesday night. It was the worst yet. If childbirth is a 10 on the pain scale, I would rate my pain as a 9/10. So, I finally decided I needed to go to the Dr. Of course, I self diagnosed myself with gallbladder or appendix issues.
The Dr felt around my belly, listed my symptoms, and asked lots of questions. He was unsure and wanted me to get an ultrasound of my belly. The couldn't do it Thursday afternoon, so we had to postpone our departure time Friday am so I could go to the Dr.
So I Friday I went and had a full ultrasound of my stomach. No phone call Friday afternoon, but the Dr called me Monday afternoon to share the results. The ultrasound did not show immediate problems with my gallbladder, but it did show a thickening of the wall. He said that means there has probably been problems in the past.
So I am glad it isn't anything terrible right now, but he wants me to see a specialist to run further tests. I'll keep you posted...
The other kink in our departure came with the cats. I said Chad was worried, and he had a right to be. Chloe was to ride with me and the kids. So we loaded her up in the back of my car. She freaked out after about 4 miles. Chad was still at home trying to catch Dori. So we made the decision to leave them in GA until this weekend. We're going to give them a light sedative to help in the trip.
So in closure, we are here living in an apartment waiting on our house to sell! I will try and post some pictures later this week.
On the house end, we have an open house next Sunday afternoon. If you know anyone interested in that area, please send them our way!
