While Mommy's Away

I was out tonight, and while I was away the kids enjoyed cupcakes and popcicles. I'm just glad I didn't have to give the kids a bath tonight! LOL

2 Peas in a Pod

Marlee and Cooper are so much alike. Here they are riding bikes. Notice what each one has in their basket. Marlee is pretty much a pro at riding her bike now, and Cooper is catching up quickly. He gets a little frustrated that he can't keep pace with her, though.

A Little Adult Fun

This past Wednesday, Chad and I dropped the kids off and headed to Nashville to see Bon Jovi. I've been a fan for as long as I remember. We don't go to too many concerts because tickets are so expensive. I told Chad many years ago that I would pay the big bucks to see Bon Jovi and James Taylor in concert. Well when we heard they were coming in concert in Nashville, we jumped at the opportunity.

I had a wonderful time! We had good seats on the first row of the upper deck. So I didn't have to worry about someone being in my way. JBJ puts on a heck of a show. He's hotter now than he was 20 years ago. lol I sang and danced and even shed a few tears. They were on stage singing for over 2 hours, so we totally got our money's worth. Chad even enjoyed himself, but said it best to a friend, that my enjoyment was all that really mattered. :)

Family Fun

We've just been living here lately. Nothing new is going on. We've loved taking advantage of the beautiful weather by playing outside everyday and going on walks, bike rides, and stopping at the playground. Marlee and Cooper have made a new friend and just love him. I think they could all move in together and be happy as a lamb. LOL

This past Saturday we went to the Orange and White game. Marlee wasn't crazy about it. In fact, she freaked out a little bit. She didn't like the loud noise. Thank goodness Chad has Cooper to go to games with him. LOL She and I left and walked around campus. I know she just LOVED hearing all about where Mommy went to school. We even walked around the UC and stopped off at the bookstore for a browse.

Tracy and I at the O&W game.

Cooper, Marlee, and Jacob stopped on the bridge before going to campus.

Friends are Fun

We're super excited to hang out with our friends again. Marlee and Cooper share in the excitement. Here's some fun pictures from our sure to be weekly cookout.

Time to Enjoy the View

Marlee and Cooper have really enjoyed all of the new views around the house. We venture out many times a day to the park (playground) and to the buseum (gazebo). Marlee has finally taken to her bike after 3 months and wants to ride everywhere all the time. Cooper got a tricycle for his birthday and tags along behind her. Our little Pleasentville neighborhood has tons and tons of sidewalks on both sides of the street, so we ride and ride some more. The birds have been chirping, the wind has been blowing, and the kids have been out and around in droves. Marlee and Cooper have really made themselves feel at home. Too bad the attitudes didn't stay in Georgia...sigh.
